BIDDING OR NEGOTIATIONS


BID PROPOSALS
The Architect assists the Owner in establishing a list of prospective contractors. Following the Owner’s approval of the Construction Documents, the Architect assists the Owner in pricing the Work with multiple bidders, negotiating with the selected contractor and assisting in the preparation of contracts for construction.

NEGOTIATED PROPOSALS
The Architect assists the Owner in selecting an individual Contractor to perform the Work. Following the Owner’s approval of the Construction Documents, the Architect assists the Owner in pricing the work using a single General Contractor with multiple sub-bidders and suppliers, negotiating with the General Contractor and assisting in the preparation of contracts for construction.
